Steps for standing up the ears:
1. Positioning the ears: Gently lift the pet's ears and adjust them to the desired standing angle (adjust according to the pet's breed requirements, ensuring the ears are vertical and symmetrical). Use your hand to gently fix the position of the ears to prevent them from shaking.
2. Apply the ear glue: Using a cotton swab or the applicator provided with the glue, apply a thin layer of ear glue on the inner side of the pet's ear (about 1/3 of the way from the ear tip). The thickness should be just enough to cover the surface of the ear without dripping. Avoid applying too much glue as it may flow into the ear canal (if it does, gently wipe it clean with a clean cotton pad).
3. Attach the ear tabs: Gently place the cut ear tabs on the inner side of the ears that have been coated with glue. Press them with your hands for 1-2 minutes to ensure a tight fit between the ear tabs and the ears, with no air bubbles or looseness. If the pet's ears are soft, you can attach a small piece of ear tab on the outer side of the ears as an additional support (be sure not to cover the pet's ear canal).
4. Fixing the shape: After the application is complete, continue to gently fix the pet's ears for 1 to 3 minutes to allow the glue to fully adhere and initially solidify. During this period, avoid the pet shaking its head or scratching its ears. You can also put an Elizabethan collar on the pet to prevent it from accidentally swallowing the glue or pulling off the stand-up ear bar.
De-gumming operation steps
1. Preparations: Remove the de-gumming agent and a clean cotton pad. Spray the de-gumming agent evenly onto the cotton pad (or directly apply it to the connection point between the ear stand and the ear).
2. Softening the glue: Place a cotton pad dipped in the desoldering agent on the ear stand, and leave it for 1-2 minutes. This allows the desoldering agent to fully soften the remaining ear stand glue, preventing the pet's ears from getting injured due to a hard tear of the ear stand.
3. Remove the ear tabs: Once the glue has softened, gently lift one end of the ear tab with your hand and carefully remove it along the ear texture. If there is any remaining glue, use a cotton pad dipped in the glue remover to wipe it clean until there is no glue residue left on the ear surface.
4. Follow-up cleaning: Remove the stand ear bar, clean the glue thoroughly, then use a clean cotton pad to wipe the pet's ears. Ensure the ears are clean and dry. If there is a slight redness on the skin, apply a small amount of pet-specific skin care oil to alleviate the condition.
